M 25 C voortstuwing

De in 1996 geïntroduceerde M25-motor, met een cilinderdiameter van 255 mm en een slag van 400mm, is de op één na kleinste MaK-motor uit het motorenprogramma. Dit type is in lijnuitvoering te leveren in een 6-, 8-, en 9-cilinder uitvoering. Het vermogensbereik ligt tussen 1.800 kW (6M25C) en 3.000 kW (9M25C) bij 720 en 750 omwentelingen per minuut.
