Following the approval of the antitrust authorities, Zeppelin has been appointed by Caterpillar as Cat dealer with responsibility for the sale and service of Cat products in Norway and the Netherlands with immediate effect. Previously, the Dutch Pon Group was a Cat dealer in these service territories.   <\/strong><\/p><ul><li><strong>Zeppelin Group grows to over 12,000 employees<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Sales increase to over 5 billion euros<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>present in 29 countries<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><p><br>&#8220;The acquisition marks an important milestone in the history of our group. With the integration of these territories, Zeppelin is further expanding its position as one of the world&#8217;s leading Cat dealers &#8211; for the benefit of our customers, employees and partners worldwide. The transfer of this responsibility is proof of Caterpillar&#8217;s great confidence in the performance of our employees and is a great recognition of our work,&#8221; says Matthias Benz, CEO of the Zeppelin Group.<br>\u2028Zeppelin is now at the beginning of a transformation and the next stage of the company&#8217;s development. The integration and transformation process is focused on a more international orientation, enhanced customer-centricity and a future-proof portfolio. For this reason, there are also changes to the organizational structure. Zeppelin organizes its cooperation in four strategic business units (Construction Equipment, Rental, Power Systems, Plant Engineering). From June 2, 2025, the strategic business units \u201cConstruction Equipment Germany \/ Austria\u201d and \u201cConstruction Equipment International\u201d will be merged into one SBU Construction Equipment. This will bundle business activities in Central Europe, Eastern Europe &amp; Central Asia as well as Nordics.        <br>A central \u201cPost-Merger Integration (PMI) &amp; Transformation Office\u201d has also been set up to ensure the integration and transformation in a targeted and effective manner. This plays a key role in the integration of new business units and the overarching coordination of all transformation processes. <\/p><p>As a foundation owned company, Zeppelin thinks and acts for the long term.
